Weekly Goals for October 26 - November 1, 2009

New week, new goal! -- and I'm finally ready to commit to this one. I'm going to praise myself for what I've accomplished every time I check in with my planner for this week.

  1. So far, so good. I put off opening up my planner and praising myself for as long as I could, but I did it! Yes!!

  2. My weekly goal will be to continue using my meal planning calendar, breathe before and during a meal, continue daily writing in my food journal and reading this blog on a daily basis. Maybe not post a blog entry daily..but read it to remind myself of my goals for the day and week. The goal I will complete this week is to take the final test in the class Loose Weight and Keep It off. Things that I am working on for my smart goal are working on my exercise goal for the week. and remembering..that it is an on going goal...it doesnt end today if I dont do it just like I had planned--breathe!

  4. mom9, I love your goal of breathing before and during meals! I taught my kids this recently, and although I'm still doing it myself, I've stopped doing it as a family. Your post has me thinking it's time to start again. Thanks :)!

  5. Update on planner praise goal...Very powerful. I got a lot done, with less mental stress. And, oddly, I completed a few things not so I could check them off my list...but because I was looking forward to praising myself the next day. :)!
